Other streets and areas to visit:

St-Joseph Oratory. Built on the north-west side of Mont Royal, it's a largechurch that's worth visiting (Cote-des-neiges metro station, then walk south on Cote-des-Neiges, it's easy to spot).

Notre-Dame street west, if you like antiques shops, there about 30 of them on that street between Guy and Atwater. (Lionel-Groulx metro station). - The outdoor vegetable/fruits markets. In the summer, there are outdoor markets that sell fresh vegetable, fruits and other produce. The main one, and most interesting, is Jean-Talon market in little Italy, near Jean-Talon subway station.

Another interesting market is Atwater market, near Notre-Dame street (Lionel- Groulx metro station).

St-Hubert street between Sherbrooke and Mont-Royal street, great examples of typical old style Montreal houses, residential streets.

Lachine canal, there's an 11 kilometre long bikepath that runs along the canal (it's a cross-country ski trail in the winter). There's also a outdoor sculpture garden along the path.
