Outremont

Outremont is a middle-upper class municipality on the island of Montreal and just west of the Mile-End neighbourhood. The main street to visit is Bernard street. It's main attractions are the smalls parks and green spaces and beautiful houses. It's location is to the north-east of the Mount Royal.

Must see:

Laurier street between Cote St-Catherine and St-Laurent (although east of Hutchison is not technically in Outremont) for it's high-end restaurants and shops. Accessible by the 80 bus from Place-des-arts metro or the 51 bus from Laurier metro station.

Bernard street, west of Park avenue. There's a lot of restaurants (mostly French) and specialty shops.

Outremont (not much to see around there though) To go to Bernard street or Laurier, take the 80 bus from Place des arts.
