Craig MacSweyn is a consultant in the Decision Solutions group of Equifax Canada, specializing in consumer credit risk solutions for financial institutions. In this role, Craig assists organizations in achieving efficiencies in the management of their credit portfolios through the use of credit bureau risk scores and other quantitative and data mining techniques. Craig holds an M.B.A. from the University of British Columbia, as well as a B.A.Sc. from the University of Waterloo.

Thomas Higgins is a consultant in the Decision Solutions group of Equifax Canada. His role is focused on cultivating and implementing new business opportunities for new and existing customers in the area of modeling and analytics, specifically in the mid-market Financial Services, Retail and Telecommunications industries. Prior to joining Equifax, Thomas worked in financial services marketing with CIBC VISA, American Express and Home Trust and was involved in marketing, database and modelling programs with various telecommunications clients covering wireless, satellite and ISP. Tom earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University and has an MBA from McMaster University.

Equifax Canada's Decision Solutions group will present their clustering tool, Equifax Credit Behavior Segmentation (ECBS). ECBS is a powerful credit clustering tool that enables organizations to better qualify customers at the postal code level. The clustering system combines credit scores and credit file attributes to profile prospects and customers based on credit history. The solution is being used to assist organizations in assessing customer risk with limited access to credit information by aggregating credit information to the postal code level. This solution assists in increasing customer satisfaction by improved targeting and improving overall approval rates. Equifax will present case studies that demonstrate these objectives.
