  18. In October 2009, Joel Kamnitzer, Kevin Purbhoo and I organized what we hope will be the first of an annual tradition, the Southern Ontario Groups and Geometry workshop at the Fields Institute in Toronto. This first workshop was informally a 40th birthday party for our Ph.D. supervisor Allen Knutson.
