About Me

I completed a Bachelor of Math at the University of Waterloo in 2013 and a Master of Science at McMaster University in 2014. I am now working towards my PhD under the supervision of Dr. Deirdre Haskell. My research is in Model Theory, a subject which applies the tools of mathematical logic to various topics in other areas of mathematics, especially algebra. I primarily study applications of Model Theory to valued fields, which abstract the algebraic and topological structure of the real numbers.

I am also the Founding President of the current incarnation of the McMaster Men's Curling Team. The team had been inactive for several years, but we have resumed competing on the Ontario university circuit, including at the Ontario University Athletics Championship in Guelph. More information is available at the Marauders website.
