Material for Test #2

The material for Test#2 is everything from the Test #1 until and including series solutions, i.e. until the material from Monday’s lecture (with examples continued on Wednesday.) This means that the material starts from homogeneous 2nd order linear constant coefficients ODE’s, until Frobenious method including regular/irregular singular points. In Zill’s book it is the material related to Sections 4.1-4.4, 4.6, 4.7, 5.1, 6.1, 6.2, and 6.3. In Trench, it is Sections 5.2, 9.2, 5.3, 5.4, 5.5, 5.7, 6.1, 6.2, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, 7.4 and 7.5 (see the “Plan”) You are responsible for all the material presented in class, as well as the practice problems, webassign and Kritik assignments.
