Final Exam

The Final for the course will be held on Thursday 5/5 from 4-7 pm in SEC 202. The exam will cover all of Chapters 1-5, as well as Section 6.1. There will be an emphasis on the material from Chapter 5 and Section 6.1. It will be a closed book exam and you cannot use a calculator.

I will be holding the following additional office hours: Monday (5/2) 2-3 in Hill 606, Tuesday (5/3) 10 am-12 pm in Hill 606. There will also be a review session on Tuesday (5/3) from 8-10 pm in Hill 425. My usual Wednesday office hours are cancelled this week.

Midterm 2

Our second midterm will be held on Monday 4/11 during the usual lecture time. The exam will cover all of Chapters 1-4 (skipping Section 4.9) from the book, with an emphasis on Sections 3.5-4.8. It will be a closed book exam and you cannot use a calculator. However, I will give you the following formula sheet for use during the exam:

I will be holding additional office hours, which will serve the dual purpose of a review session. This will be held in SEC 218 on Sunday, April 10 from 8-10 pm.

Here are some additional review problems, suggestions and old exams taken from the Math 135 and Math 151 websites. (Math 135 and Math 151 cover almost the exact same material, and exams from these classes are of comparable difficulty.)
