Math 2231 - Ring Theory

Course Description

(Adapted from the Course Calendar) The main goal of this course is to introduce rings. Some of the topics that will be covered in this course are: congruence and modular arithmetic, and the definitions of rings and fields. Prerequisites: Math 1281.
