Material for the Final

The material for the final is everything we covered in class. You are responsible for all examples, practice problems, and everything covered in class.  In terms of the book, it means everything we covered in class until and including Rouché’s theorem (i.e. up to  “Rouché’s” in Chapter 7th) (see “Plan”). You should know all the concepts introduced in class, including all the definitions and results, statements of theorems (but no need to memorize the proof ) and be able to use them to obtain new results (such as in the tests, homework and practice problems.)
