Nha Van Tran took his general exam Tuesday April 17 in front a a committee consisting of Peter Wolinski (LSU Mathematics), Hongchao Zhang (LSU Mathematics) and Matthew Chambers (LSU Chemistry). Congratulations Nha!

Nha’s thesis deals with fracture in heterogeneous media and is supported by a grant from the DMREF program of the National Science Foundation.
