Nature highlight

Nature highlighted our recent article (Brodnik et al., 2021) on fracture diodes, previously featured in Physics. This project was funded by the collaborative grant “Designing Microstructures for Engineering Toughness”, DMS-1535076.

Note that the journal ignored a request to mention all authors and institutions in the piece. Did anybody ever suggest that some journals are biased towards “elite” schools?
